Although I began to take an interest in aspects touching on artificial intelligence as early as 2017, it wasn’t until 2023 and the rise of generative tools that I began to be consulted on these issues, with a now recognized expertise in these matters.
Examples of mandates:
- Assessment of the legal risks involved in scrapping public data (mainly podcasts) to train an artificial intelligence model to improve the quality of aid-hearing products.
- Assistance in drafting contractual clauses involving various players, concerning data ownership and the allocation of rights upon trained models.
- Assessment of the risks associated with various generative tools, such as Copilot and GitHub Copilot, with particular regard to the possible infringement of intellectual property rights and the issues surrounding the confidentiality of the prompts and data ingested in these tools.
- Writing of recommendations for the use of generative tools by developers within an IT company.
